I present to you, a kit that I have been so very excited to build. Infact, ever since the first Transformers Movie was released I have been in love with the junkyard look of the characters. When the 1/35 scale DMK 01 – Optimus Prime was released I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. Now several months later, I finally started this kit. I only spent 3 days of building / painting / weathering as unlike my previous kits I didn’t want this to drag out. Also I have learned a hell of a lot of short cuts from my previous two build.
This kit is probably my favourite out of all the kits I have built so far.
I ditch the flames, I prefer him clean..
I also went with a matt dark blue with a gloss almost candy red. It was candy before he got into a fight and got all dirty.
