This kit is my forth Master Grade kit from Bandai and my fifth kit overall. It is also my first kit where I have done more than just painting and weathering. I recently purchased a Dremel Stylus and a heap of styrene sheels and went all adventurous and experimental.
Colours used were Tamiya Gun metal, Chrome Silver and Gold Leaf. With the Gun Metal I didn’t stir the paint properly so it stayed quite dark (on purpose of course) as I wanted something darker than if I had stired the paint properly. You can see the difference in the colours if you look at the photo with the shield, the darker sections on the shield are Gun Metal, the same paint used on the kits body armor.
Weathering only invovled Tamiya Chrome Silver paint and Tamiya weathering master Trio – Burnt Blue, Burnt Red and Oil Stain.
The Gatling Gun was a kit that I purchased seperately and one that I heavily modified. Everything except the barrels and the drum on the underside was all me (go me!).
